Hello everybody, I could use some opinions on my next build. My current tank is cycling, a 50g reef. While it cycles I am planning my next tank. The reason I got into salt water were because of the fish, I love corals too but fish were my first passion. Mainly the porcupine puffer, so the build with revolve around him. The tank will be a standard reef ready 180g. For a stock list I have the porcupine puffer, a few triggers humu, Picasso, Niger, Harlequin tusk, and one grouper, either a miniatus or a red flag. This build probably won't take place until next October or so. I would appreciate any input, opinions, thoughts, or critiques.

I also have a love for the porcupine puffer. Really want to put one in my 300 mixed reef but dont want him nipping corals or trying to eat my other fish. I think that group would work except maybe the grouper. Dont think a 180 would be big enough.

I thought that too until i saw the tank requirements, for the 2 i listed, on live aquaria. I have been trying to find some more info on them but can't really find anything solid.
