PLASTIC connect broke AGAIN. HELP

I have a single port manifold on my return line that supplies my frag tank. the connector is a typical threaded and barbed connector bought at lowes. .I'm frustrated cause these type of fittings just break with the smallest touch or bump once they get some age on them 1 yr maybe. it just happend. what's a better replacement.? seems salt water makes these very brittle.

I stopped using the Nylon Barb Fittings too. Only use the Grey PVC or the Black ABS Barb Fittings. You need to go online for the sizes we use on our Aquariums.
