Hello,
I just got a plate Coral from a person's tank breakdown. It had some skeleton showing when I got it. I'm wondering if there's anything I could/should do to help it. It hasn't opened up fully yet.
This is my first plate Coral. I admittedly did not dip it but did a thorough examination of it's base before adding it to the tank.
My tank is established 4 yr old reef tank. Haven't tested or done much with it in a couple of months so params arent ideal
Current params (doing a water change and top off today). I know salinity is high but the top off usually bumps it down to 1.026
Sal 1.029
Ph 8
Alk 7 (dosing today)
Cal 440
Nitrate 40-50
Nitrite 0
P04 1.00 + (?)
Thanks
Sierra
