I got a plate coral from someone and when he was breaking it off two pieces fell. So I got home and i glued the two pieces together and then put it on a frag plug. I know I definitely had more glue get on it than I would have liked (liquid reef glue) but after I glued and dipped it I put it in tank and now it seems to be turning white and kind of fuzzy on the white spots. It was originally orange. I put it in yesterday. Is this a lost cause or will it recover?

That's a Montipora Capricornis I assume, not a Plate, correct?

If it's a Montipora it can grow back.

What about this on my sand bed? Is this a plate or something else? The green thing. I thought this is a plate right?

Should I put it on a frag? Or keep it on sand bed? Been there for about 2-3 weeks and hasn't grown or seem to change
I keep mine on a rock but in the lower portion of the tank.

Keep in mind, chalice corals can be fairly aggressive and can attack corals that are within a couple of inches of them with sweeper tentacles that they'll send out at night. My Raja is nowhere near as aggressive as other varieties can be though.
