Could some one please help me identify this please or possibly point me in the right direction thanx
there a pic ov it with and without its tentacle things out think its a filter feeder and it feeds at night
sorry about the pics best i can do PS really don't think its a vertimid

It looks like red slime algae to me.... Do bubbles come from it? I see a couple on it in the second picture.

no bubbles come from it just those two silky threads and they can reach about 8 inches there two threads now where as there was only 1 at first

Looks like a sponge growth. Possibly the start of Cotton Candy Algae.
