Alright guys quick update. I was hoping for some better response to be honest but below will be a full list of things I am doing and products I decided to go with.

1. Sump- I went with the CS-60 by Synergy Reef. Running 2 X BRS Jumbo GFO and Carbon Reactors. They are modding it for me so if down the line I want to, I will be able to throw in some KLIR Filter Sock system. Everything will be hard line plumbed into the system. I've done a few fix it up jobs before, so with whats offered for Schedule 80 and color pipe on the BRS website, I am sure I will be able to make it look awesome!

2. Main Display- Decided against sand for my first build. I went with 2 X Maxspect XF250 on either side of the tank.

3. Canopy- Still purchasing the 4th Hydra HD LED 26.

4. Off site RO/DI- Still in the planning phase for my RO/DI sytem. Will update when I decide how I want to run it.

5. Cabinet- I will be making a custom cabinet that will sit directly next to the tank. This area is where I will house my Neptune System.

-Dave

P.S. @jsker talked to Synergy Reef, and boy are they helpfull, anyways the recomended keeping my drain line to 1" After it was reduced. So on the bottom of the tank where it is reduced, to keep it at 1"
Good to know:)

It will be about a month before everything gets in and what not, so I probably will remain fairly silent of this thread specifically. But will start pushing pictures out as the items arrive!

First thing first. My RO/DI place. I will be placing in the garage. I will have a Vectra S1 pump it through my wall into the fish room. Now lets cut some PVC

Man putting that 3/4" bracket in a 2.5" hole was hard as hell. Took 10 minutes and a swivel on a ratchel lol

Got water back in and she is running smooth as a whistle. It seems though the new vectra M1 pump can push out much more water than what im putting back into the sump.

Attached is a picture of the culprit I believe. Looking for advice here, should I just make that hole in the elbow bigger? I noticed the water level will dance above and right at it when I push the vectra to 50% power.

Feel free to ask questions if you need more info!

This is the front and back of my cabinet. I will use it to house all my electronics and unwanted things in the back. Time to drill and paint!

Alright well, this thread had awesome traction where it was needed. It really did die out due to the wait for everything I suppose. So I decided to turn it into a diary I suppose to document what and how it happened. Feel free to ask question about the upcoming posts.

Either way, im going to post final pictures and talk about my thought process and how it went

Once I recieved everything I knew I had to make the RODI station first. That way I would be able to have water on hand for spills and the bigger sump that was to come.
Here is a picture of the final product.

I managed to get the tanks from a farm store about 90 minutes away. They were $225.00 a piece and suited my needs perfectly. They are 100 gallons. I knew I wanted 100 gallons to be to do a 30% water change if needed.

Plumbing them was pretty easy. I decided that I would utilize my ecotech S1 to pump the water through the wall or back into the container too mix the salt. Inside sits a 800W finnex heater to quickly heat and mix the container to tank parameters.

From there I drilled a 2.5" hole through the wall and put in a .75" PVC clamp on the stud. This allowed me to run PVC and have it extend just past the wall. I used a barb fitting and 15' of silicon tubing.

This allows me to fill either the sump, ATO container or DT with ease. Surprisingly enough, this 300g build only uses the 10G ATO container every 2 weeks.

I went with the BRS 150GPD water saver and added the flush kit and booster. My water was sitting at 45PSI. After turning the booster down I now run at 85PSI. Man does it make water fast.

Setting it up was super simple. I used a 4' 2x4 as the anchor and it turned out really nice in my opinion.

Really not too much to talk about here

I knew I wanted a synergy reef sump.
What I didnt know was how awesome Vannessa and her husband are. They worked with me and added the extra bulkhead to accommodate my manifold.

This this turned out awesome. I went with schedule 80 and blue PVC. The pictures dont do it justice.

I will be adding the algeabarn chaeto starter into the fuge this week. Lighted by a kessil H380. I wasnt able to use the gooseneck due to space, so I rigged a line that holds well.

I am using 2X BRS jumbo reactors for carbon and GFO. The same Reef Octo 150INTSS skimmer. Finnex 500W heater, neptunes PH, ORP, TEMP, and SALINTY propes. The return is poweree by the ecotech L1 and my manifold is on the ecotech M1.

The two pumps are not long enough to house to controller in my cabinet but are long enough to be powered off the APEX.

I contacted ecotech and they are considering making extensions. I will be asking them monthly on their progress [emoji6] .

I added an additional Hydra 26.
Super easy to move them. They are now spaced every 14".
