Update.

The Tang has died after about 3.5 weeks in QT. Really not sure what happened. Copper levels were in the zone. Was seeing no more signs of Ich. Ammonia was high for a bit while I figured out how to manage it. He stopped eating for about 5 days or so which is probably what killed him but not sure why he stopped eating.

I had noticed that there was a point where he was hanging out right next to the heater and bubble stone. Like touching it which was odd and not swimming around.

I did notice the salinity had crept up to 1.030 as the water level had dropped by an inch or so but I don't think that level would be deadly.

Any thoughts on that SG killing the tang? to be honest, I felt like I was out of the woods with the Ich but having to focus so much on the ammonia I didn't notice the water level.
