Just noticed this on my Six Line. Not sure what it is. He's been in this tank for just shy of a year. No signs of bullying with other habitants.

Typical for a fish like this that startles easy and darts into rocks on the whim. It should heal on its own but keep an eye on it for any development of infection. If so, treatment will be Seachem Kanaplex in a quarantine setting

Likely -yes. Its not a bite mark

Looks like some disrupted scales to me as well. It does look like a ding, not a bite injury.

Keep a close eye on it, sixlines can be prone to bacterial infections. They will often start with a small wound then develop into a larger pink/red spot. There's a good chance he'll be fine, but if it does seem to be getting larger or reddening I would remove him and treat with antibiotics.
