I am attempting to get my 180 gal (SPS dominant) back up and running after over a year away. I recently purchased a reeflo hammerhead for my closed loop hoping to up my flow from my previous set up. The pump will feed an OM 4 way and also a spray bar across the bottom and 2 constant "agitators" across the top (for a total of 7 returns). After talking with my buddy it seems this pump may be way too much flow, is that the case?

Thanks for any input or recommendations!

Nope, that is almost my exact setup. 190g with OM 4 way and 2 additional returns for a total of 6.

Love it, great not having any pumps on the glass.

Never if any thing not enough haha.... I run a dart on a 70gal cube and I'm itching for more... Ande is actually putting the hammerhead on his 70gal cube last I heard from him...

Awesome! Thanks for the quick replies, I really appreciate the input! Does anyone have any experience with this bad boy's power usage? I would imagine with it being so large it spins the meter! (Good thing I switched out my MH lighting! :xd: )
