no its totally different, i was wondering if there was a real name for it, two things that are not one in the same. My other point was that people buy things for the name, and only buy things if it has a name. I did niether

Well you know its a favia....is that not its sp.name?

Don't take my post as a negative comment just stirring some debate.

Here's my take on it.....

You know you have a favia which is the correct I'd on the sp. But now you are asking if it has some "designer" name attached to it.

If that "designer" name is found and now attached to your favia then it changes it all cause it now fuels the selling power for those that look for "named" pieces. Which is what starts it all!

Tyree and ORA didn't pull corals from the ocean with names....it was attached after the "proper" ID was made and that is what fuels the frenzy.

I personally don't mind it either way but the name game is IMO fun. Like collectibles if you will.

The prices attached I don't agree with at times but hey....its america.
