The first set is from my 120g with epoxy still drying (and acrylic sticks in place to hold it up until dry...)

The first set of pictures have a iwagumi feel to it. The sacrificial rock in the foreground is/was a great idea. I wish I was this good with aquascaping. And you don't see too many reefs that are iwagumi inspired. Excellent work.
 
Here is my canyon inspired aquascape. First picture is the hardscape mockup, second picture is the scape after 3 months of maturation in the tank.

Thanks man. I think the key wa to use forced prospective and finding rock that is easy to arrange. I took a leap of faith and used the TLF staxx, which turned out to be super easy to scape.
