They’re have been just a few threads one these annoying pests so I would like to start my own. Please tell me a pin cushion in particular would eat this pest algae. I’ve read on a CUC site, can’t remember which, that they do .

Urchins likely wont touch this as its hit and miss with vegetation when it comes to urchins. Not finger algae but rather Neomeris annulata which lets off a toxin to deter fish and others from eating it However a sea hare will eat it

Reefcleaner.org says that sea hares will consume fine, film and hair algae only. They also say that pin cushions will consume complex calcified algae.
