Hello,

i would like to plumb a frag tank into my main tank which is 112 gallons. I am looking at the 25 gallon IM lagune tank. My question is should I get the AIO version and use the overflow as a way to drill holes in the bottom and of the overflow run the pvc pipes down to my main tank. Or would would it be better to purchase and external overflow and add it to the basic glass box version without AIO? Or simply drill two bulk heads into the back of a non AIO version? Would 1/2 inch pvc be enough for indlow and outflow and should I do a backup drain? Thanks

If you're going to get an IM tank, get one of the EXT models with the separate external overflow. Some of the glass on the IM tanks is tempered and can't be drilled without the risk of cracking.
