I converted the metric plumbing of my Waterbox 100.3 to U.S. standard plumbing. I had no issues with the drains. However, I’m struggling with the return. Because of the length of the flow sensor for my Apex and the conversion fittings, I don’t have much room between the two barb fittings, where the 3/4” soft tubing attaches my return pump to my flow sensor. The only way that I could get everything to fit without adding stress to the fittings and/or bulkhead was to loop the soft tubing. The tubing is too rigid for what little vertical spacing is between the pump and flow sensor when taking into account the horizontal distance between the connections.

Before ordering new fittings and trying a different approach with 90° fittings, I wanted to ask for your recommendation(s).

Thank you for your time and help!

It is hard to see how much offset there is but that baffle looks to be the biggest thorn. I don't really think that your solution needs correcting. I know my retentive side is cringing but functionally, it looks good. Personally, I like this stuff https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/white-soft-silicone-tubing-sold-by-the-foot.html and it might even work without a big loop... except for that baffle...
