Couple shots of the new guys, there’s also a melanarus wrasse and a possum wrasse but they are hiding.

Well.. woke up this morning and my red head Solon fairy wrasse was upside down on the sand bed… not sure what happened.. wether it was stress or aggression he doesn’t show any signs of sickness or injury. So I’m thinking stress.. :/ very disheartened. Was definitely a favorite for me.

In other news for this tank.. I added in some chaeto and setup a spare AI prime light for a refugium to help my combat phosphates if I can get it right… can’t seem to get a tumble without it falling apart and clogging my baffle and powerhead.. also I’m not entirely sure what is causing it but ever since I added it in my reefmat is triggering every few minutes.. tried netting some of the chaeto strands that got in there out but it doesn’t seem to help.. anyone have experience with a similar issue ?

Video shot of the tank with the pump off, trying out red sea’s AB+ coral food
I’m planning a similar fish stocking, where are you purchasing your fish?

I ordered everything except the tangs and the clowns from reef beauty’s, the tangs came from Top Shelf Aquatics. Wish I didn’t lose that fairy wrasse. Was so hyped about that one.

Little update today,

Added a lot of new corals, Acropora, Monti’s and Euphyllia mostly. Been working on keeping up with my ever growing consumption of elements, Triton ICP is showing low on a lot of trace elements but I should receive my first Mixture from their MYTE program in a few days.. seeing plenty of growth on the more established corals to the system, added a 3rd Radion XR15 to give a bit more light for the SPS and get some more light to some of the shaded areas on the sides, getting around 220-250 par peak at the top of the rock work. Tank is for the most part fully stocked, except I will add the final community members soon.. a Magnificent foxface this Tuesday then maybe a trio of Pajama or Banggai cardinals for the absolute last fish. It’s looking up so far! Hope it stays this way 😂🤞🏻

Started culturing my own Phyto and Pods as well. Today’s the second harvest. Going well! I know I could have done it without this system but I figure it’s all there already and it will eventually pay for itself since I won’t have to constantly order them and pay live shipping fees.

First harvest of the copepods. Seems to be a lot of them :o will dose them at lights out tonight. Got the next batch in motion already. Kinda cool. Not as hard as I would have thought

Newest addition to the crew. Seems pretty chill so far, the tomini was a little upset initially but they seem to have a mutual agreement now. 🤞🏻
Beautiful foxface!!!!!! Mine is coming along.
