We all know there are tons of additives/treatments/supplements in this hobby... Some have proven their worth and others have been branded 'snake oil'...

Using the poll tell us what bottles are considered 'essentials' in your fishroom (pick your top 4). If there's one that's not mentioned in the list, tell us below!

Excluded foods (aside from supplements) and 2 part/chemistry/testing products (otherwise this list would be endless!)

I voted for Copper Power and Prazi, because that's how I QT now.

The only other additive I would consider to be 'essential' for me is limewater (kalk).

For QT, it's copper power, focus, and general cure. These will bring majority of the way. If allow a bit more it would be metroxplex and ruby rally.

For display, nothing is essential besides a coral dip. Revive is my choice.

Only one on there I chose was the prazi pro. I use it in qt. I would never be without Prime. Just because stuff happens especially in qting fish.
Other than that, I keep a variety of meds and food meds on hand in case. Gotta say the ones that have come in handy the most has been my food with triple cure. Fish love it and works great for in tank treatment.
I also use CP for qt, not copper.
For supplements, I feed a huge variety of diet and yes some type of reef roid food is in there.
Every thing else I just have not used. Some I tried, some not. I never found most to be necessary for a successful reef though. :)

Also a full array of test kits, SafetyStop, 2-part dosing (B-Ionic)... and of course salt mix (HW Marinemix Reefer).

I only dose L I V E tetraselmis phytoplankton and do the occasional WC.

Tank has never been more stable.

You should read up on all the benefits of dosing live phytoplankton. Its a serious, serious hidden secret

A coral dip product

The fish remedies for hospital tank treatments I would buy if needed. Only the brands with known chemicals and years of successful use.

The rest on the list are not essential.

None of these look essential to me. It looks like a list of optionals. Selcon is probably the best thing on the list though.

I would rather having something like live worms and a turkey baster.

I guess 2 part/Kalk or some such major element replacement because I would never keep up with all otherwise.
