Do polyps on the underside of the coral normally extend much more then the top side?

Not typically. Is the flow across the top much more than below? How about lighting? Corals do indeed react to lighting both positively and negativity

I noticed that on a stylo colony I used to have. I never thought much of it really though.

Happens normally on both my Stylophora and poccillopra.

Lighting and flow are both optimal for SPS, im hoping they're extending a lot because my parameters are just so good :D:D:D

The polyps are likely reaching out further to get light from the underside, where the ones on the top don't have too. Pretty common for that species of BN. Looks otherwise healthy, and I don't think you have anything to worry about.
