That sounds like a good idea! Maybe after work, and football this evening.

We got a call from the hospital last night, Gary passed away about 1AM. Funeral arrangements were already being planned, today they go into full swing. I am guessing it will be Wednesday, but a lot depends on the airline and getting him home. I am ready to put this chapter of life past me for sure!

It may not look good compared to ur old 90....but atleast its wet and has the beginning of a reef goin! :)

On a side note, I know its been a while but where did u pick up the gray coast, or do u have any more? lol I'm thinkin about sands for the new tank...

I hope so Marv, I have a line on some of my old frags, with some BONUS ones too. Just need to get the time to get over to them. Life seems to keep me hoping from one place to another.

Thanks for the kind words all. September is OVER, and I am going to move forward with some corals real soon. Basically the tank was left "running" for a month, the glass was cleaned, and fish fed but that was about it. I have 25 gallons of water mixing right now for a water change that I'll do tomorrow. So my initial observations so far with the tank has been positive. Most algae's are gone, the CUC I have is doing pretty well maintaining the stuff that does grow. The Trumpet coral and Frogspawn are thriving, sticky punch pallies are also thriving, but my gobstoppers are not so happy though.

I still have 4 Green Chromis, and 1 purple fire fish. So far food has been "Marine Chips" by Instant Ocean, the fish all like it, admittedly these fish are not picky eaters though.

My immediate plans are for some corals, SPS this time around. I will have to start supplements as well, I plan on DIY 2 part for now.

The only change I made recently (today) is I turned the Vortec up to 100% from about 80%, no real reason other then I can. ;)

Well I just read your entire thread, first off I am sorry for Your losses, and second... show us the puppy! Shepard's and goldens are my favorite dogs by FAR! Good luck and I can't wait to see more!
