Has anyone used this as a battery backup for their essential tank equipment? I’m thinking about getting it and I know there are cheaper options, but since it’s going to be visible near my tank, I like the design and the fact that you can change the LED light ring colors. Any thoughts or opinions on this model?

What are your plans for backup longevity.
Are you using this on dc equipment?
I prefer the battery packs for the dc pumps as it lasts a lot longer.
These will give 1-4 hours at best depending on load and size of backup/inverter.
These work well for temporary heating and anything that cant be backed up on the DC side.

I plan on using this to run my return pump, wave maker, and heater. Only the bare essentials while there is a power outage. I was looking at the Vortek backup batteries, but they seemed to be tailored toward their own products, none of which I have in my tank.
