Ugh...
The government is trying to destroy this hobby. And they probably have complete disregard for what this hobby is or what it means to people. How annoying.

I’ll defend it.

The simple answer is, the pet trade is not a “wet market”. The purpose of wet markets is the importation of animals for slaughter and human consumption, often in unhygienic conditions that leave the floors wet with blood. Hence the name “wet market”. Cory Booker is of questionable intelligence, has cookie monster eyes and we do not eat our pets. His bill will get shot down because it’s sloppily constructed which makes me think even he knows this and is just doing it to virtue signal.
