I saw in the pics lots of sponge and a little bubble algae. That coral definitely had something bad happen to it could have been bjd. In tank cipro treatment saved my stuff. I was afraid of doing it but the kfc dips and iodine dips and straight week long qt transfers in cipro did not stop it, slowed it down yes but whenever there was a stressful event the corals would develop bjd again. I used 100ml of water and 1000mg of cipro 2 500mg tablets I dissolved them in the 100ml of rodi water kept in a dark bottle in the refrigerator. My dose said by tank volume said to dose 6ml every other day for 7 days. I dosed 10ml per day for 10 days by day 6 or 7 my eupyllia looked much better. I left the tank alone on day 11 restarted the skimmer on day 12 and added some carbon on day 13 I did a 30% water change. All euphyllia look 100% better with great growth now in fact many corals look better and are growing well. The fish look and act healthy. I have noticed no ill effects. This is what I followed.

I dont know your actual water volume or how much rock you have. I did the math off 60g of actual water, like I said over or heavier dosing did not seem to hurt. math said 2.8375 ml I would take that a step further and bump it to an even 3ml dose. I would also go longer than 6 days 7 or 10 would be what I would do. In my case I did 10 days. Last thing we want is bjd that is antibiotic resistant. If you are worried about the volume you could drop the dosed amount down to 2.5ml. Like I said though math for my tank was 6ml/day I dosed 10ml/day no negative issues I could or can see. I did this end of April, everything is growing crazy since.

500mg for every 20g. So 1500mg.

How’s it going everyone quick update. Looks like cipro is working. A 24k seemed to be affected two days ago and looks to be bouncing back just from the last 48 hours. Here a picture of the it before and today. Will send more updates as the cipro continues to do its job. I did a total of 1,750 mg of cipro. Also attached a photo of the recommed steps for this cipro i used so anyone else wit this issue can get help from this thread. Thank again for all the help!
