Looking for disease ID and links to treatment options. Thanks!
Bought this sixline just a few weeks ago. Fat and eating great. Until yesterday I realized he was not out for feeding, together with my Orchid Dottyback. Found him dead this afternoon. I think I have seen him scratch himself on the rock, but I am not 100% on that. Those white things in the gills is sand. The pistol shrimp was trying to drag him into his cave...
The week before my Dispar Anthias also had issues. While I was trying to catch my Tomini Tang, he was in the rock that I took out of the tank and fell out of the rock. His tail fin was somewhat shredded. It healed mostly and then it looked shredded again, not sure if it was aggression, but at the end of the week it came out for food but seemed to not be able to eat anything. He was dead Saturday morning, it seemed like his tail fin was infected (snails were coming for him before he was dead).
My Orchid Dottyback also did not feed last night, seems to have a rough spot on his scales near his tail fin. He's been hiding a lot. Worried he is not going to make it.
Leopard wrasse is doing a lot of scratching on the rock, something seems to be bothering him. He was still eating well yesterday.
I introduced some new fish together with the sixline a few weeks ago (No QT procedure) and for about two days (after a week), all three new fish had some white dots, but then they disappeared and did not come back.
I'm happy to give more tank info if its needed.
