Can you calculate how much water is displaced based on how many pounds of rock/sand in your tank?

Id like to know how much actual water my tank will have by accounting for rock.

Rock is harder because it's surface area and mass that displaces water not weight. Sand is easier since you can measure the surface area much easier.

I don't think this is a useful calculation as there are too many variables, not the least of which is what you consider displaceable water in highly porous rock. I think you may be better off just guessing lol
