Hey all, looking for some ideas on good automations you are using.

I’m mainly using Zigbee Smart Plus and Zigbee Temperature sensors right now.

I have my Fuge LED, Normal Tank Lights and Return pump set up with automations to turn them on, and a special “feeding mode” automation that turns off the returns for 15 minutes and then back on again.

I also have a failsafe automation that checks to see if the return is off for 20 minutes and if it is, turns it back on just in-case I forget for some reason.

What other ideas do you have? I am currently not running a heater because the temperature in the tank stays at 78 degrees, however that would be another automation I’d explore if I do decide to run that one (failsafe to turn the heater off if the temperature exceeds a certain threshold).

Here’s a quick screenshot of my current HA dashboard for my different setups.

I have a button for "Sump Flow" on/off, "Display Flow" on/off minus the return - it stays running, and a "Tank Flow" on/off which kills all powerheads and pumps - display and sump.
