So ordered a clean up crew that was mailed priority mail on Monday. I feel I will be lucky if they are delivered tomorrow. They just got to the USPS sort center outside of Baltimore. Being new at this I am worried some will be dead and because of that there will and ammonia spike that will wipe out move of them. Am I over reacting in feeling 4-5 day is a long time to be in bags and is it possible for them to still be alive.

I hope they arrive alive, but wouldn’t count on it. If they aren’t all in one bag maybe you’ll get lucky. Have you asked the vendor yet?

I have warned them that they didn't make it last night. I just found out through text they just made it to Maryland.

I've had snails in transit for 4 days in the past with no issues. I think you'll be OK, but it will depend on the temp inside the shipping box.

There are some crabs in their too. I tried Reef cleaners because I lost half of what LA sent.

Hermit crabs can be pretty resilient. Others, not so much.

I just got an order from reefcleaners yesterday. John packs stuff correctly. Great guy to order from as well. I'm sure he will make it right if it goes bad.

Yea its been a pretty decent temp on the east coast.
In many areas probably too cold on the east coast the next couple days as a heat pack cannot last that long and they typically do not use them for snails.

He has been cool so far and what I seen on the forum they are often recommended. I am more irritated with USPS.
