I have noticed some dark spots on the underside of a Cali tort frag. Coral has not grown a millimeter since I got it in March. Colors are fine and there’s a decent amount of polyp extension. I have not noticed any white oval spots or eggs. I do have some coralrx being delivered this week but curious if I can get a positive ID before a dip?
Thanks!

I don't see the flatworm (image) that I would associate with AEFW. There do appear to be some possible worm like creatures on the flesh, but I can't make them out in the picture. What does jump out is the dead area at the base with green discoloration that I would associate with internal skelletal dieseae, unknow cause for that but generally fatal when I have seen it?

Also small vermitid snails around the base can possibly be a source of irritation. But the general impression is a coral frag that is rotting from the inside out? Hope the dip helps?

Thanks for your response!
I agree the brown spots do look like some sort of pest. However, I just checked again and compared to that picture from 24 hours ago and they are still in the same exact spots so I’m curious if it’s just brown flesh from lack of lighting. If they continue to grow or move over the next few days, I will plan to remove the frag and dip it to see if anything comes off.
Any other pointers would be greatly appreciated!
