I have had a 14g biocube for a couple of years and I just recently bought a 2nd powerhead. Where should I place both of the heads? Up top? One up top and one below?

I thought that at first but I've talked to quite a few people who have multiple heads but I dont see a uniform placement.

What corals do you have. Where are your dead spots? What is the flow rate of the heads.

All softies at the moment. Looking to go for some SPS next. I had some dead zones at the back of the tank, behind the rock work.

I guess I would point one behind your rockwork. Softies don't need much flow. 140-280 gph is the max flow for a tank your size, with your return also.
