You can buy replacement sponges for Mp40 and Mp60's
Also you can cut up a pair of nylon stockings and use that over the powerhead

BRS and Marine Depot sell anemone guards for Vortechs. I tried them on my MP60s but I didn’t like they way they attached. What powerheads are you using?

When I need to protect things like this I often use Gutter Guard.

Sponges and nylon stockings get clogged too fast. I'm using yarn sleeves for the PH's in my anemone tank.

Ok so I tried the stocking for a few days and at 1st it flew off. Put it back on then the powerhead was sucking it in. I left the front of the powerhead open but should i put the stocking on the entire powerhead? If not any other ideas please

You dont cover the exit just the cover where it sucks in water. See the yarn sleeve post above

the powerhead is ... Reef Octopus Octo Pulse 4 Aquarium Wave Pump 4500 GPH

I just went on amazon to what i gutter guard is but they were all metal?
And in my previous message I stated the stocking over the powerhead didn’t work for me but maybe I put it wrong. Any other options for me please?
