I have a small (10g) holding/quarantine/jail tank. I found a small powerhead but it was a bit strong and monodirectional. I got a medium sized plastic anacharis plant (another multistemmed leafy plant would work) and anchored it in front of the jet. The stalks whip around and change the current constantly and unpredictably.
