They were built different back then. Hope we can keep reefing into our old age.
Yes, they certainly were. My grandmother, the first one born in the US, didn't get her first pair of shoes until she was 6 years old.

You'll make it easy peasy. Only the good die young. 😂

My mom is 91 now. Her physical health is very good but she has dimentia. Not a great combo to have, in my opinion.
That was how my wife's grandpa was. He lived to be 98. Unfortunately he died about a month or two before his 99th birthday due to a fractured pelvis. While at the rehab facility he ended up getting a UTI that didn't respond to antibiotics.

Getting old sucks. If only we could dodge it.

Sunday evening time for a scotch, sitting in front of my tank waiting to tune into my weekly stream with my local reefers. This ones featuring Ania from Aquarium gallery. One of the best stores australia wide. Its where i got my turbinaria heronensis and my photosynthetic gorgonian.
Progress photos on that following.

Picked up some new coral today from a fellow reefer who was experiencing the dreaded red sea seam split. Hes trying to move on anything he can at the momwnt and im heart broken for him picked up what he called a pc rainbow, a paletta pink amd a bonsai acropora. They are lookong great and cant wait to see them settle in.

So im considering upgrading my light to an xr15 g5 pro. Only thing is i would need to 3d print an adapter for it to be able to use my reefled mounting arm because i have no space to put anything else in the back of my tank. Any idea on if this would be possible ?

Yep! I would imagine designing a bracket adapter would be fairly straightforward. I'm just curious if PETG or PLA would be fine for the weight. I'd imagine so.

I have 0 experience with either light but the bracket for the G5 should be easy enough to slightly modify the design and attach to the ReefLed arm looking at both of them.

I just found someone who has made one online so might see if i can gind someone to print it for me

Looks like around $40 for shipping. Rates are going up soon, but I don't remember when.

Wait, Melbourne Australia?
I am surprised you never noticed before.

@PrattysReef - have you connected with more reefers in Australia? There are quite a number of them on R2R.
