I am in a bit of a conundrum. Based on advice from the LFS, we built our aquascape by placing the sand first and then live rock. We have glued and epoxied it together. Fast forward a few weeks as we wind down the cycling process and prep for livestock. We are planning on a pistol shrimp and watchman goby among other fish, and of course are reading about how important it is make sure that the rock is on the glass so that the shrimp doesn’t burrow under it and cause a collapse. All of our base rock is quite broad. But I’m trying to think of the least invasive way to get the rock onto glass (or near it) now that all components are in and the tank is cycled. We were thinking of just using a scraper to undermine each rock a half inch at a time to lower the whole thing. Anyone have any experience in doing this or tips? Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about it. They will move around if the shrimp doesn't think it's safe. Plus you need to do that for all the rocks because they will NOT stay in the same place.

If you do want to, what I did was push the rock into the sand in a shimmy so it is closer to the glass. That worked for me. Of course it will be cloudy for a while but the sand will settle down eventually.
