That is correct, I have one going through the system and the other to the reefmat, it is great because I am not 100% stripping the nutrients but I am able to keep a easy maintenance schedule to were I only do water changes once every three months

Any reason you didn't cut out the sock tray and put the reefmat there? I am wondering if there would be enough room for it.
