Hi!! I just got the results of my ICP test and the lab has found a very high levels of aluminium (116.28 - range from 5 to 30) and iron (8.60 - range from 0.05 to 2.5). Can it be dued to a Marine Pure plate I have in my sump? How can I eliminate the problem?

Thank you!

Yes. Yes it can. Phos ban will remove Al. Not sure about iron. If you use Phos ban be aware of PO4 dropping too quickly. I ended up with a nasty dino outbreak from nutrients bottoming out. Big water changes might be a better alternative.
