problem with overflow box

Does anyone have the issue of their u tubes going from the tank to the overflow get big air bubbles in them randomly and then meaning the flow is restricted. Anyone have a solution for this issue?

Mine gets air bubble too. I continually took a tube and got the air out with no luck, in a day or 2 it would be back. I just deal with it now, I think the air bubbles the water makes when going into the box get in the tube. Mine stays the same after several months so I let it be until I clean algae out of tube.
