In Transit
06/30/2020 7:00 A.M.Hapeville, GA, United StatesSevere weather conditions have delayed delivery. / Your shipment is scheduled to arrive today after the delivery commitment time.

I had a similar thing happen not too long ago where my order of fish arrived a day late. Everything worked out though and were fine. Assuming they were packaged appropriately, they can surive another day.
Hope they come through for you.

I’m hoping they come soon!

I also just want to say that, as someone who used to work in logistics, just because weather is fine where you are doesn’t mean there wasn’t a weather delay. It’s about the route between you and the shipper. Here in NY, where Salgado Aquatics is based, we did have some pretty bad weather, and it may also have been anywhere along the route.

This is more a vent than anything, because it always frustrated me when people reached out to our customer service reps and said this. It’s not just about the weather in your area. In fact, that’s one of the least important parts.

That said, shipping has been pretty hit or miss during COVID because shipping companies no longer guarantee delivery by a certain time. They might tell you they do, but their guarantees with vendors no longer offer credit or refunds because of the COVID madness. Just another reason not to order fish, or coral, online for a while.

Seriously hoping these fish come soon and in good shape, though.

i will update the thread tomorrow when the fish arrive hoping they make it

Waiting is the worst. I hope it arrives ok. Is it in Hapeville right down the road from you?

Thats what I was trying to find out so I can possibly just pick it up but every agent I called didn't have an answer for me told me I had to just wait then said they would have someone call me nobody ever called

We had a fish order from a wholesaler get caught up in the system for 3 days. All but two fish out of 15 lived.

Well its 1034am fish were supposed to be here by 1030am its out for delivery but still not here

Yes, photos when you get them all settled, please. Best wishes!

Good luck, its always a great feeling to see they are still alive when they finally get delivered.

Happened to me a few times. The tracking says out for delivery in the morning and it not at my doorstep until sunset. All day in delivery truck in the middle of the summer heat. I know they have ice packs, but still.

I just lost most of a jelly bean chalice because of UPS. Supposed to be here by 10:30 AM, got here at almost 7 PM. One mouth survived, so I’m nursing it back. So annoying.

They may have a little damage on the outside of their cheeks from banging around in those bags for 2 days but other then that they look really healthy so far may be nothing they are hiding from me so I can't really get a good look
