Should be under "system" if you click on that, or maybe double click? I've only had a profilux for a little over a week, but pretty sure that's where it is.

I've looked around for a while and still haven't found it. I even have 'expert' mode on.

That's definitely strange? I don't have my pc with me, but I'm fairly certain I was on fw version 7.08. What version of GCC are you on? I am using V1.1.0.0

V1.1.0.3.

There's also a trojan embedded in the downloads on the official GHL site. Trojan:win32/Tiggre!plock, which is a bad one I believe. I think they may have been hacked, as this trojan likes to embed itself into free download sites.

Yeah I noticed that myself when I was trying to download it to get going. I dunno man? Looks like we need @Marco@GHLUSA or @Matthias Gross to help you out and maybe adress that Trojan.

I figured it out. I had to update my wi-fi drivers via the webserver. I'm guessing since your unit is relatively new, it came already updated.

I didn't associate the wifi fw update with the email alerts because I had updated that a few days before I even messed with the email notifications. Glad you got it figured out!

Thanks! Unfortunately, I've had no success with getting the email notifications to work. I've followed all the guides posted here and tried various configurations with no successful test email sent.

running GCC V1.1.0.3
Firmware 7.08

I'm using gmail so I set it up as listed above. I also enabled 'less secure apps' and followed the 'disable captcha' link.

Tried Ports 25 and 587.

I created a thread on the ghl forums to see if those guys can help me with it. Maybe there's a step I'm missing?

Did you follow the captcha link on the same device you have gcc installed on? That was my apparent hang up as I was doing that part on my phone instead of laptop.

Yeah I saw that you mentioned it, so I made sure and used the same device.

Hmm. I first got hung up when I didn't activate the app things. I remembered I tried several times (I have Android phone so I activate the app thing back and forth from GCC laptop to cell phone) and finally got it work.

I cannot get email notification into my gmail.
I tried port 25, 465, 587 none as worked until now.
I switched ON the gmail "less secure apps" and the "Captcha".
when I tick the Test button I can see the small icon letter on the profilux but I do not get any mail.

Can you put in something in my name also.

When it sends the first time you should receive a security alert in your gmail account did you receive that alert message?

Also make sure you save your changes before testing.
