Hey guys trying to see if I could get some traction here, but I’m looking to upgrade my Powerhead that came with my Hello Reef kit(Sicce Nano Voyager) there’s nothing necessarily wrong with it but I have a RFA and a Yuma shroom and I think the flow might be a bit too strong, I’m starting a GSP wall that can hopefully soak up most of the flow but that’s gonna take some time so I’m looking at the Nero 3 or the TMC Reef Flow, anyone that has experience with these or both can you please drop your thoughts on it

How big is the tank?!? That overhead does look too big for that tank.

Nero3 min flow rate would be 600gph (30% of its max) I believe.

Perhaps just get the random flow generator added to your return pump.

I’ll go with 2nd one if you can lower the flow and planning on staying with the tank.

dang forgot to add it to the op but it’s a 15 Gallon AIO and I want to have a mixed reef tank and yes I do plan on staying with it long term so I feel it’s only right to get something that can better fit my needs when it comes to my powerhead flow output and be able to control it more so it isn’t as harsh towards my small RFA and soft corals

I have few naro3 in a JBJ 15aio when I started. I had no problem with the flow being too strong though…. I’ve upgraded to 24gal and added 3rd one -.-
