I am not sure about in all states, but Pennsylvania State Police offers info of child sex offendors, where they live and where they work under Megan's Law requirements. Here is an awesome website someone sent me to locate any near where you live or work! Just type in an address, and it maps them all out so you can keep an eye out for them! If you click on the little colored square it will give you their info, and in some cases a picture of them!

I think some cities are even jacked into Google Earth... where it shows which houses they are in on the map .... I believe chicago was one of them...

This should be in every state. Thats what i like about my home town in MS. you dont have to worry cause they will hang-um from a telephone pole, are wrap them up in chicken wire and put concrete blocks on feet and throw in the river

Not sure if that is the same site me and my wife check out every once in awhile, but it sure is something good to know. Some of those guys are just creepy, can only imagine what the ones look like that they don't have pictures of. Maybe that's why they don't have pictures of them too creepy. The one here for Michigan they have to give up a picture within the first 6 months of being on the list......Some of them are unfortunate though like the kids that got caught ******* his girlfriend vise verse and they are n there for the rest of there life. For a mistake they had no clue of the responsibility of the actions they were taking.....But most of them deserve to be on there cause they are sick.

in bangor, Maine where I live now, police hand deliver fliers of the the persons picture and their offense to everyone within a 3 or 4 block radius of where they move in. I got one last spring and as specifically warned that I would be arrested if I harrassed him at all for being a sex offender haha creeps

Tyree...there are 2 types of sex offenders categorized through Megan's Law. When you are personally handed a flyer about a specific sex offender living in your area that means he/she has been classified as a violent sex offender.
