Puffer gone R.I.P

Well after work today I couldn't find my 6 inch puffer after tearing down rocks still no remains so I feel the base of my haddoni and sure enough it's in there carpet is in QT now any one have nem survive after eating a puffer
 
Most puffers are not reef safe so I'm not sure how many others might have exp here.

I'm pretty sure those types of puffers actually pick at anemone's, maybe some puffer experts can chime in on that.
 
I think your saying the carpet anemone has eaten the puffer? Nice!

They are beautiful looking creatures, I want one, but can’t have one for this reason.

I don’t know if the puffer is poisonous so......
 
He threw up the remains of puffer today and looking better I'm going to do a large water change after work today in QT

Spiky box puffer he was great with fish and coral for short time I had him + side is don't have to worry about working for parasites as they are bad to contract them
 
Well carpet nem is opening most of way up but tenicles are not stick hopefully just healing not slowly slipping away mouth is 1/2 open but not slimming no more
