Pump Controller with Mixing Station

Has anyone used pump controller like https://www.amazon.com/automatic-pump-control/s?k=automatic+pump+control with their Mixing Station (thats saltwater resistant) ?

I purchased one where the description said it was plastic / rust-free but on the exit side it's either copper/bronze on the inside, so i'm hesitant to use it.

I'm not sure which pump on that page you are referring to.
I use old powerheads for mixing salt and a pond pump to transfer from the basement to the tanks on the first floor.

They would be used with a pump ( i.e. pond pump in your scenerio) to cut off/on power when you open the valve at the end of your hose. So say you your mixing station is in garage/basement and you have 75ft hose to your tank(s). You run your hose to the tank and have a valve there , so you don't have to run to your garage/basement , or use a wifi controlled pump.
