I have 2 of the BRS reactors, on a 40gallon tank. What do you suggest for pump? I was thinking of 2 Cobalt MJ1200 Powerhead, and for the UV I was thinking Sicce 1.5 pump.

I would like to keep them all separate. This not a main display tank, something just tinker with.

Thanks

Mj 1200 for brs reactor is good.
What size uv?

I use a mag drive for my outdoor pond uv. Handle a lot of head pressure and last a long time.

It 40 watt,. About three feet below the tank

If you’re looking to kill parasites shoot for around 400-450 gph
If you’re looking to kill free floating algae shoot for around 1200 gph

Sicce 2.0 at 3 feet head should give you about 425 gph. Just keep in mind just about all manufacturers exaggerate their pumps performance.
