Purple Bonsai slightly browning out

I've had a Purple Bonsai for about 3 months. Over the last two day it has gone slightly brown. The yellow polyps are still extending. First thing I thought of was PO4. I checked this morning with Hana checker and they are reading 0. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

The purple bonsai loves nitrates. They typically look better in higher nutrient systems and brown out in lower nutrients. Try increasing the feedings to see if that helps.

This is true, they also love light. Tell me more about your lighting set up. I also have AP700s and bonsai. Mine look pretty good.

My lights are mounted 7" from the water, 70%max for 6 hours. Nitrates are .25-.5 phosphate is ~.02.

Here is my lighting schedule. When I've tried raising my intensity in the past my LPS seem to suffer. My lights are also 7 inches from the water. Maybe I'll try increasing again very slow over the next couple of weeks.

Need more info than that, how deep is your tank, wide and height. How many lights? How long did you acclimation for?

My tank is L 36.5 x W 18.5 x H 21 I'm running 1 Kessil Ap700 at 7 inches over the water. As far as acclimation I placed the Bonsai, higher up in the tank. It sitting at about 250 Par. I normally start them out on the sandbed and slowly move them up. Since I'm only running at 38% I placed the bonsai up high in higher Par and flow.

Checked my po4 yesterday and it was 0.00

My Garf Bonsai is about 20" from an ATI 48" 8x54 watt t5 fixture that is at 90% intensity for 7 hours (6 blue+ and 2 Purple+ bulbs). It has done much better since I moved it lower.

I was just quirious if you had a little po4 in the past and then went to zero recently.

My po4 has been steady at 0.00 My Nitrates were a little higher but have been holding at 2ppm for about 2 months.
