Purple digi skin peeking

Woke up to my purple digi colony, all peeling off from the bottom, the top is healthy. Its next to a hammer colony, do you guys think it got stung overnight when lights are off? Had it there for a while.

Nothing changed about my parameters at all.

It's really hard to see in your videos. Is it actually peeling or is it just turning white at the base because of shading? That happens when shading but there's still polyps, it's still healthy.

Peeling. Like i thought there was webs on it this morning till i started taking them off, and its the polyps. Peeled right out. I tested everything. Everything still stable. The only thing i can thing off it got stung

It's very possible that got stung. They're not going to handle an LPS sting at all.

The white “webs” makes me think they got stung. This is what I have with LPS warfare. The white would only be where they were stung last night. If the white is expanding today, I think RTN is a more likely cause. Of course, the massive damage it took could also cause RTN/STN.

The surprising thing is that these two have coexisted for a while without issue, and then the LPS went all out in one night. It is possible though there has been minor damage before that has gone unnoticed.

does not spread, per se, if the cause is local stinging.
I have had this with others before and it was just where contact was occurring.
Had a very happy cyaphestra but after introducing a hammer nearby and more accurately, after the hammer settled in and 'blossomed', the area of contact with the cyaphestra turned bone white pretty quickly. Both did fine overall.

Also, you may be having both occur to some extent (shading and stinging). but if it paled-out quickly (ie overnight-ish) then its chemical warfare.

you can move things around if you like and if feasible.

Yeah it didnt make it woke up, and the white spreading even more. Yeah it was fine a night before. This is 100% a chemical warfare. I tested alk, mag, cal. And before that i had my nutrients and salinity tested nothing changed my parameters listed above
