My purple firefish's mouth that i got last week does not look healthy today. He looked perfect yesterday but then this morning he looks like this. Looks like something's growing on his chin or it got injured. Also his left side has this spots i don't know what they could be at all. Maybe a disease?? I saw him eat some brine this morning so he's still eating.

Has this fish been fighting with clown or any other occupant? While it looks like mouth rot, im suspecting mouth damage and typically for mouth rot you can treat with Maracyn 2 or Seachem Neoplex but im concerned how this will heal and its ability to take in food.
IF eating brine shrimp can be taken in easily.
Have you noticed he and clown squabbling at all ?

The clownfish usually stays by himself but when he does swim close to the firefish the firefish always darts away quick, I'm starting to think he got scared and ran into the rock. Other than the clown i have a tailspot blenny and a cleaner shrimp they don't mess with anyone.

And firefish do spook easily and crashing into object is a suspicion, just want to assure its not from aggression.

It sure looks like Lymphocystis, but that does not appear overnight, so it must be an injury of some sort. Good that the fish is still eating, mouth injuries often stop a fish from feeding. While secondary infection could occur, it doesn't look infected yet.
