I marked as an emergency but I hope it’s not that bad yet. My new purple tang looked fine for a couple days but quickly started developing white marks I assumed it was maybe just getting stung a little by the BTA. The following days it hasn’t gotten better but hasn’t spread to other fish, as far as I can tell, and is developing slowly.

I’ve done some google searches and from what I understand I have to treat every fish in the tank. I don’t currently have clean tanks for treatment but will buy one or more if necessary. So I guess my question is if this is ich? And if so, I have quite a few fish now, can I put them all in the same tank for treatment? What is the best medicine to use?

Fish in tank:
1 Purple tang
4 Clownfish
2 Bandai Cardinals
2 Pajama Cardinals
1 Mandarin
1 Yasha Goby?
(He’s disappeared for a couple days now if I need to treat fish in tank I’ll find him)

I use Salifert test kits and I think my water is good I tested a few days ago before the Yasha disappeared but can test for specific values again. The only thing a little low that I remember was calcium 370~380 ppm but I don’t think that has any impact. If the picture isn’t good enough I can try to get another tomorrow when the light ramp up again. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Not sure that i see any ich. For certain, its not an emergency.

More information would help. Also, considering starting a tank journal in menbers tank forum.
