Hey all!
I’m currently downsizing from my 260 gal reef to a 3 foot water box.
I’ve got the following in the 260 gal
1 Klein’s butterfly (4 inches)
1 desjardini tang (5-6 inches)
1 purple (2-3 inches)
1 blue face angel (2-3 inches)
1 coopers anthias (3 inches)

I’m essentially planning to rehome all of these guys, but I’m hung up on whether I bite the bullet, get a little silly and keep the purple…

so… here I am for some reinforcement to either have the thought beaten into submission or have my mind changed by an overwhelming number of success stories(unlikely haha)

thanks in advance!

Also I will be looking to build a new reef during a knock down rebuild in the next 2-3 years.

dimensions of the tank will be 5x3x2 with a fish room for sump etc.

I think it would be easiest to start over with the new tank.

The 5x3x2 would be perfect, though.

I think that’s the nudge I’m after hehe! I agree a restart for the 5x3x2 is probably the best option!!

Update: I’ve caught and moved these guys to my friend’s display tank at his shop, that way I can still check up on them as time goes by!!
