ORA are clean fish no parasites or issues, they are at a higher temp around 80 I believe but float for a good 30 minutes, even though by now the temp in the bag will be much lower.

Assume all fish have something foreign and quarantne. UNLESS you have a written guarantee of QT and parasite free, I would not rely on assumption of disease free

Just be careful - the fish may have been shipped at lower salinity and your tank may be a lot higher. You cannot acclimate small fish to big changes, even if you take longer time. If the specific gravity ion the bag is, say, 1.020, you should not try to acclimate it to higher than about 1.023 or so.

While ORA fish that haven't touched a dealer's tanks are considered pretty clean, there is always a chance that they will develop bacterial or protozoan infections.

How??
Their orchid dottybacks are we'll priced compared to other stores. Would love to intercept one at Petco before they release it into their dirty systems..
I find out their delivery days and then call them. I'm just some big dufus asking about fish; they usually take pity on me and let me fish-geek-out with them...
Sometimes you need to be persistent, sometimes you need the pity; usually just asking the attendant when they get their deliveries and then being there to intercept the fish works.

yes. I can intercept ORA bags at my Petco before they enter their system if I time it right.
I think about every time we visited our local Petco, one or many had parasites, so we've never bought a fish from them, just snails, shrimps...
