Hey All!!!
-Any suggestions on how to Quarantine a "Yellow" Boxfish(he is actually white) side question
-Is the white normal?
We bought it at our local fish store and we quickly noticed he has ich. We are currently treating him with Poly Lab Medic with minor success. He has been in QT for 6 days now.
Any suggestions for continued treatment.

I recommend hyposalinity or copper power (chelated copper) boxfish are intolerant to ionic copper products such as cupramine.

Also, they have chromatophores in their skin that give them the ability to change color, they usually turn whitish when stressed or in an environment with a lack of color (such as a quarantine tank)

But I've never seen one so white, and the shape is similar to the horn-nosed boxfish (ostracion rhinorhynchos) it's hard to tell though.
