Quarantined Corals?

Yes, because the parasite’s cyst can be on the plug, rock, shell of CUC etc. part of the treatment of the coral is dipping. Depends on your goal for QT. Are just monitoring/treating for coral pest or for fish disease also.

I would like to identify a vendor that only keeps corals with no fish to avoid worrying about fish diseases.

Very impressed. Ben @tidalgardens responded to my email this morning that everything in their new facility goes through 70+ day quarantine. Per Ben except in these cases: “Things we do not propagate (Scolymia, Elegance, Lobo Brains, etc) and long term grow out colonies housed in the greenhouse are not quarantined per say, however they are not made available for sale until they are thoroughly dipped and checked for pests.”
