Quarintine for brook

Hi there I was hoping for some advice. One of the employees at the shop made the mistake of cross contaminating the water. They scooped water from one tank that contained a maroon clownfish that appeared to have brookanella and then proceeded to pour the water out, and add the water from the other system where my clownfish was and put my fish in the same bag. This was due to confusion and inexperience. I consulted one of the other employees to which they agreed to quarintine the clownfish for me. Question is
How long should a clown fish be quarantined before it will show brookanella? This is a deadly disease for clownfish I know. But what is the safe zone?
I believe we are unable to get ahold of medication to be able to do formalin baths here. Any help and advice will be appreciated.

You can safely add Ruby Rally Pro to system or tank itself for prevention. Its very effective and safe for coral and inverts if present. Run for at least a week or I should say, have them di that

Brooklynella has direct development with no resting stage like ich does. However Brooklynella can linger on a fish for a long time as a sub clinical infection….sorry, but I dont know how long that can be - certainly three weeks based on people bringing clownfish home and having Brook show up as an acute infection in that time frame.

I would do observation alone - for now - and up to the 3 week period per Jay - and agree with the possibility of Rally pro per Vette. However, my personal idea would be observation alone. Along with the normal quarantine protocol noted at the top of the forum. Keep everyone updated!!
